Hello, hola!
My name is Ian Hiromi, i‘m living as a ceremonialist, multimedia artist, and sociocultural researcher. My work is interdisciplinary because in order to see social structures & invisible worlds it is vital to research, feel and dance, so I could not have done one without the other!
I embrace honoring my ancestors’ traditions and contemporary body-voice-based practices. Therefore I would like to express my gratitude to my Mixteco & Jalisciense ancestors, as well as to the curandera & onanya wisdom keepers of the Linaje de los Pies Descalzos and the Shipibo-Konibo-Xetebo people for teaching me how to tend my own Fire.
I regularly offer donation-based ceremonies in Berlin and wherever I travel—sign up for my newsletter if you wish to stay updated. I am here for your questions!
Ceremonial work
Ritual is a technology which allows us to reestablish balance with the forces that sustain our lives and cultivate relationship with our inner & outer ecosystems. I accompany people in these encounters with Spirit, Ancestors & the life-giving forces of Wind, Water, Earth & Fire.
